Our Building Performance department recently joined the team in 2023 and led by industry veteran Gord Rajewski with over 40 years of experience in the industry. Our building performance team strives to assist current and potential building owners with their goals by providing the services below to determine how best to address building issues whether it’s a recently acquired building or a long-idle investment.

We have the technology and resources to conduct thorough examinations on a wide range of buildings including as small as a single-family homes and up to the largest commercial structures in Western Canada!

Vice President, Building Performance

Gord Rajewski is a building science technologist and infrared thermography specialist with over 40 years of specialized engineering experience in Canada, the U.S. and Africa. Gord joined the Krahn Group of Companies in 2023 and has continued to apply his wealth of experience and knowledge through our Building Performance discipline.

In addition to his strong career in Building Performance, Gord conducts seminars and delivers speeches to a variety of organizations and groups including the Institute of Real Estate Management, the Building Owners and Managers Association, Welding Institute of Canada, ASHRAE, University of Alberta Faculty of Engineering (Civil), Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, the Alberta Roofers Union, Roofing Apprenticeship Program, Canadian Condominium Institute, and Alberta Advanced Education

Building Performance takes a proactive approach to addressing potential deficiencies in existing structures. Using our arsenal of impressive gadgets and wide breadth of experience to determine the presence of faults to determine the cause of any current or potential issues.

Our Building Performance Technologists are passionate about ensuring that your structure is safe, cost effective, and sustainable.

We inspect buildings for heat and air loss, moisture ingress, full building envelope asset validation, building rehabilitation, and of course we provide consulting to help you determine the next steps for your building!
