This development consists of two buildings comprising of 26 modern and functional warehouse units in the Dominion Triangle neighborhood in Port Coquitlam, BC, Canada. The combined area for both buildings is 65,315sq.ft. The second-floor structure was constructed using wood TJI joists supported off a combination of interior stud partition walls, glulam beams and columns and the building tilt wall panels providing support to the plywood floor sheathing.
Due to the width of both building being approximately one fifth of the length of the buildings, the tilt wall panels on the short elevations and the interior of the buildings required hold down anchors to be provided to the panel ends and the foundations to deal with the seismic uplift forces.
