This project consists of 2 identical concrete tilt-up industrial buildings consisting of warehouse and office area.
Go RV was a Design / Build project with OML Construction. The project figures prominently along 13120 Yellowhead Highway near St. Albert Trail.
The project is an expansion and renovation of the existing facility that featured a number of new service bays and a renovation and upgrade to the building façade that included for expansive curtainwall glazing to feature the vehicles in the Showroom. The large fin with orange trim figures prominently along the Yellowhead Highway and also locates the main entrance to the showroom. The total area of the existing building and expansion area was 33,380 sq.ft. that includes for the Detail Shop and the Mezzanine. Of significance with this project was the number of parking stalls that were required. Whereas the total number of stalls required to comply with the Zoning By-Law, there were 1,533 parking stalls provided.
Subzero Cold Logistics is the first integrally insulated tilt-up freezer building in Western Canada. The 42,066 sq.ft. building is an insulated concrete tilt-up freezer storage facility that is designed to maintain temperatures at -25 degree Celsius (-4 degree Fahrenheit) to store frozen foods. The entire warehouse has been equipped with state-of-the-art racking systems to ensure the entire space can be utilized. The building also boasts a wide range of additional structural, thermal, moisture, and maintenance benefits associated with the use of insulated tilt-up construction.
This building won the Tilt-Up Achievement Award in 2019.
An 88-unit, six-storey apartment building, this building includes 1 level of underground parking with a heated lamp, a multi-purpose room, kitchen, cafe, lobby, lounges, guest laundry, a workshop and public washrooms.
Ironworks is a mixed-use light industrial and office complex encompassing an entire city block in Vancouver’s re-emerging portown district. The overall form of the project is a functional response to the site topography and the requirements of the anticipated users. The industrial functions are expressed in durable and economical cast in place and precast concrete construction with a lighter, more transparent expression being employed for the office floors which float above the Pandora building with a contrasting steel frame clad in glass and metal panels.
This project consists of a concrete tilt-up, mixed-use building to have a total gross floor area broken down into 3 sections; 2,000 Sq.ft. storage area, 6,100 Sq.ft. main floor office area and 6,100 Sq.ft. of 2nd storey office area.
Lustre Products is a 62,000 sq.ft. manufacturing/office facility that specializes in manufacturing elevator parts and accessories. The exterior façade of the office delivers the flagship characteristics for the building, utilizing curtain wall system installed at a 75-degree angle. The building was constructed using insulated concrete tilt-up wall panels and won the Tilt-Up Achievement Award in 2019.
Gill Estates apartment complex consists of 2, four-storey wood frame apartment buildings with a total of 213 units. The larger apartment building (115 units) is to be on slab-on-grade, and the smaller apartment building (98 units) is constructed over an underground parkade for approximately 98 cars.
